Career Guidance and Placement Cell

The college have own Career Guidance and Placement Cell that helps to student to upgrade their skills as per the need of industry. The cell helps in personality development of students.

Responsibilities of the Career Guidance and Placement Cell:

  1. Sustained training for placements and competitive examinations across six semesters.
  2. Knowledge building sessions.
  3. Training in group discussion and interview skills.
  4. Aptitude Test and excel training.
  5. Career Guidance sessions from industry experts helping students to make informed choices regarding their careers.
  6. Campus recruitment by leading companies offering challenging job profiles.

Student’s Grievance Cell

The Student Grievance Cell aspires to promote and maintain a welcoming and non-judgmental educational atmosphere. The objectives of the Students Grievance Cell include the following:

• To assist students who have been shorn of the services provided by the College to which they are entitled.
• To ensure that College administrators are responsive, accountable, and courteous when dealing with students.
• To ensure an efficient response to student issues through an objective and fair manner.

The Cell allows a student to express their views by initiating and pursuing a grievance procedure in accordance with the College's norms and regulations. The 'Student's Grievance Cell' investigates and examines the substance and pattern of grievances in a purely confidential manner. The emphasis has been placed on procedural fairness.

Functions

1. Addressing student grievances to resolve academic and administrative issues.
2. Coordinate between students and departments/sections to address issues.
3. Provide studnets with guidance to address their issues.

Exclusions

SGC shall not entertain following issues.

1. Decisions of the Academic Council/Board of Studies and other academic/administrative committees formed by the college.
2. Decisions about scholarships, fee discounts, rewards, and medals.
3. Decisions made by college under the Discipline Rules and Misconduct.
4. Decisions of the competent authorities on assessment and examination results.
